Peris One

Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of PERIS ONE, a cloud-based accounting and bookkeeping platform providing accounting records, financial reporting, and related workflow tools.

PERIS ONE operates as a sole proprietorship in Karachi, Pakistan, under the business name PERIS ONE (“PERIS ONE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). PERIS ONE is a trading name and is not represented by these Terms as a separate incorporated company.

By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use PERIS ONE for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on that business’s behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

PERIS ONE provides cloud-based tools for recording accounting transactions, managing financial information, generating supported financial reports, importing supported files, and configuring accounting workflows.

Features may change, be added, or be discontinued as the product develops. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes where appropriate.

PERIS ONE is a software tool, not an accounting firm, auditor, tax adviser, lawyer, or investment adviser. The service does not replace professional advice or independent review of accounting records.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher, to use PERIS ONE. If you act for a business, you must have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account, except to the extent caused by our breach of applicable obligations or otherwise required by law.

Notify us promptly at hello@perisone.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Business Accounts and User Permissions

A business account may have multiple authorized users. The intended roles and permissions are:

  • Admin: Can create, edit, and void accounting records; change business settings, the chart of accounts, tax rates, and services; archive customers and suppliers; export reports and other supported data; invite users; assign roles; remove users; and manage the subscription, renewals, and billing details.
  • Staff: Can create and edit accounting records and export reports and other supported data. Staff can void documents only where an Admin has allowed it for that business. Business settings, the chart of accounts, tax rates, services, and archiving customers or suppliers are limited to Admins. Staff cannot invite or remove users, assign roles, manage billing, or request business-account deletion.
  • Accountant (read-only): Can view all records and reports and export reports and other supported data, but cannot create, edit, or void accounting records, change business settings, manage users, or control billing.

A read-only Accountant may access more than one business only where each business’s Admin separately authorizes that access.

The Admin is responsible for inviting appropriate users, assigning correct roles, removing users who no longer require access, and reviewing permissions. Users must not share credentials or attempt to bypass role restrictions.

The application checks these permissions on every action. Posted accounting records are not silently deleted: they are voided or corrected, and each change is recorded in the audit log with who made it and when.

5. Customer Data and Responsibilities

“Customer Data” means information you or your authorized users submit to or maintain in PERIS ONE, including accounting entries, financial records, supplier and customer details, bills, vouchers, receipts, uploaded files, and related business information.

As between you and PERIS ONE, you retain your rights in Customer Data. You authorize us to host, store, process, transmit, and display it as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service, comply with law, and perform these Terms.

You are responsible for:

  1. The accuracy, completeness, and lawful collection of Customer Data.
  2. Reviewing accounting entries, calculations, reports, and imported files.
  3. Maintaining records and backups appropriate to your business and legal obligations.
  4. Ensuring that you have permission to upload personal, financial, or confidential information.
  5. Complying with applicable accounting, tax, privacy, and recordkeeping requirements.
  6. Ensuring that your authorized users comply with these Terms.

You should not treat PERIS ONE as your sole archive of legally required accounting records.

6. Accounting and Professional Advice Disclaimer

PERIS ONE helps users organize and process accounting information. It does not guarantee that the service or its reports will meet every accounting standard, tax rule, regulatory requirement, or business need.

You remain responsible for verifying entries, classifications, calculations, tax treatment, financial statements, and reports before relying on them or submitting them to a third party or government authority.

PERIS ONE does not provide tax, legal, audit, investment, or other professional advice. Obtain qualified professional advice where appropriate.

7. Free Trials and Subscriptions

PERIS ONE offers a free trial, currently 14 days, or another period specified at registration or communicated to you.

A payment card is not required to start the free trial. A trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. When the trial or a paid period ends, your account continues to work for a further grace period of 10 days, shown in the app, so that you have time to pay. After the grace period the account becomes read-only until payment is confirmed. During read-only access, users may view and export data where their role permits, but cannot create or edit accounting entries. No data is deleted because a trial or subscription has ended.

Paid subscriptions are offered on different plans and billing periods (monthly or yearly). The applicable price, currency, billing period, included features, and applicable taxes will be disclosed before purchase. Prices are shown in US dollars; businesses in Pakistan may pay the listed price in Pakistani rupees. A yearly plan is charged at ten months’ fee for twelve months of access. You may ask to change plan at any time, and the price of the new plan applies from your next payment.

Payment is currently made by bank transfer, using the instructions shown in your account; where we offer them, local payment options for businesses in Pakistan may also be available. A subscription is activated or renewed when we have confirmed your payment. If you pay, please send the payment reference to billing@perisone.com.

Subscriptions renew manually: you pay again when renewal is due, and nothing is charged to you automatically. If automatic renewal or online payment is introduced in future, we will ask for your explicit agreement first and update these Terms.

You may stop renewing at any time by not making the next payment. Unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by law, the current paid period is not refunded.

If a payment is overdue, we will send reminders and, after the grace period, place the account into read-only mode as described above.

8. Refunds

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once paid.

We will consider an appropriate remedy where PERIS ONE fails to deliver the paid service as agreed, subject to the circumstances, the applicable plan, and applicable law.

Nothing in this section excludes a refund or other remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use PERIS ONE for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized activities.
  • Upload information you have no right to use or disclose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or Customer Data.
  • Interfere with service security, availability, or integrity.
  • Introduce malicious code or conduct abusive security testing without authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the service except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by us.
  • Use the service in a way that infringes another person’s rights or violates applicable law.

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action where reasonably necessary.

10. Intellectual Property

PERIS ONE and its software, interface, design, documentation, branding, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to the proprietor, except for Customer Data and third-party materials.

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purposes during the applicable access period.

You may not claim ownership of PERIS ONE’s software or branding, or use our name or marks in a way that implies an endorsement or relationship that does not exist.

11. Third-Party Services and File Imports

PERIS ONE relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate. Their availability, terms, and technical limitations may affect the service.

At launch, PERIS ONE does not promise integrations with external accounting, banking, payment, or business platforms beyond the payment methods expressly offered. Supported CSV and Excel imports may be available.

You are responsible for checking imported information and confirming that it has been imported accurately. We are not responsible for errors originating in your source files or third-party systems, except to the extent required by law.

12. Availability and Maintenance

We will use reasonable efforts to maintain the service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, infrastructure-provider incidents, network failures, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Where practicable, we will provide notice of significant planned interruptions.

13. Security and Privacy

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect Customer Data, but no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Our handling of personal information is described in the PERIS ONE Privacy Policy. Where required by law or the customer relationship, a separate Data Processing Agreement may apply.

We may process limited technical diagnostics and usage information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve PERIS ONE. Customer accounting records will not be analyzed for product improvement. Properly anonymized, aggregated statistics may be used for product analytics.

14. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using PERIS ONE at any time. Not renewing a subscription does not itself delete the business account or its data.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, suspected unlawful activity, material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Only the business account’s Admin may request deletion, by emailing hello@perisone.com. We may verify the request and the requester’s authority before acting.

Following account closure or subscription expiry, data is not automatically deleted merely because the subscription has ended. Data will be retained until deletion is requested, subject to applicable legal obligations and limited retention in backups, security records, or other records that must or reasonably need to be retained.

Deletion will be handled within a reasonable period, taking account of applicable law, technical requirements, and legitimate retention needs. We do not promise immediate removal from every backup or system.

Before requesting deletion, you should export the records you need. We may be unable to restore data once deletion has been completed.

15. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PERIS ONE is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, completely error-free, suitable for every accounting purpose, or capable of meeting every regulatory requirement.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PERIS ONE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising from use of or inability to use the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the subscription fees you paid to PERIS ONE during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot legally be limited or excluded. They are subject to any mandatory consumer protections or other legal rights that apply.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your material breach of these Terms.

This section does not require you to indemnify PERIS ONE for losses caused by our own unlawful conduct or liabilities that cannot legally be transferred to you.

18. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the service or these Terms as PERIS ONE develops. We will update the “Last updated” date and provide notice of material changes where reasonably appropriate.

Changes will apply from the effective date stated in the updated Terms, subject to applicable law. If you do not agree to a material change, you should stop using the affected service and not renew.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Subject to applicable law and any mandatory jurisdictional rights, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be submitted to the competent courts in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

This clause does not remove rights or protections that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.

20. General Provisions

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted.

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable subscription terms or Data Processing Agreement, form the agreement governing your use of PERIS ONE.
